Valentine's Day Salad Recipe For 2
Valentine's Day is right around the corner and we are here to make your Valentine's Day dinner at home a little simpler with our favorite salad! Topped with apples cut into x's and o's, bacon roses, and love heart strawberries, this Valentines Day salad is perfect for serving during your romantic dinner, Galentine's party, or family gathering. Say "I love you" with a salad they'll love!
Ingredients:
6-8 oz Spinach
1 cup Strawberries
3/4 cup Pomegranate Seeds
Nuts of Choice (we love using pecans, walnuts, or slivered almonds)
1/2 cup Feta Cheese
6-8 strips of Bacon
1/2 Red Onion
2 Red Apples
1/2 cup Honey
1/2 cup Red Wine Vinegar
1/2 cup Olive Oil
1-2 Cloves Garlic
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Pepper
Salad Instructions:
Prep your spinach by rinsing and drying completely, and place into a serving bowl.
Slice the stems of the strawberries off, using a "v" shape, then slice the strawberries into strips, the long way, to create love hearts.
Slice your apples in round slices from top to bottom, then use X and O cookie cutters to get the right shapes.
To make the dress, place the honey, red wine vinegar, olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper in a mason jar and close the lid tightly. Shake until well blended or mix in a blender on a low setting.
Top your salad with the onion, nuts, pomegranate seeds, apples, strawberries, bacon, and feta cheese. Serve and enjoy!
